EasyBloom Technology Saves Time and the Garden

This new little gadget can save the day, maybe the whole season, for many frustrated gardeners.    It’s one of the hottest garden tools on the market – providing tips and information about house plants, annuals, perennials, your vegetable garden, and more.  Yes, the EasyBloom would have been very helpful last year when I had to replant my dying vinca three times in 6 weeks!

Often the reasons for problems are very clear, but sometimes we just get stumped!  Finding out why a garden plant or vegetable isn’t performing as expected can be a lifesaver for many new gardeners and even a few of us old timers.  Living up to its name, the EasyBloom Plant Sensor seems very easy to use for those who aren’t very savvy in the garden or with the computer.

Three Easy Steps

STEP 1:  Put the EasyBloom Plant Sensor in the ground or a container where you want to grow a plant or already have a plant in place.

Plug into USB Port

STEP 2:   After 24 hours, plug the device into the USB port of a PC or Mac and transfer your data to the EasyBloom.com website.  Using the raw sensor data gathered about the tested location (sunlight, temperature, water drainage, and humidity), the website then adjusts the info according to your local growing zones, climate, and hourly weather.

STEP 3:  From their 5000+ plant library, you learn what plants are recommended for the tested location and how to care for them.  If you already have a plant in the area that’s not exactly thriving, the Plant Doctor will tell you what to fix and what you may already be doing right!

Useful Tool for Many Gardeners (and wannabe’s)

I suspect that some Master Gardeners may scoff at this new technology, but it probably wasn’t intended for them anyway.  In fact, I found very positive reviews except one that sounded like someone who had been gardening a very long time and was already confident with his experience and his knowledge.  Overall, the EasyBloom is a great tool to help gardeners (and wannabe’s):

  • save time with quick answers and gardening tips in just 24 hours
  • save money by not having to replace dying plants and learning which plants won’t work for your area
  • access a full library of plant information applicable to your garden from the convenience of home
  • get specific answers about your own situation or challenge
  • improve flowers’ performance and vegetable yields
  • understand what plants will work best in your landscape design
  • save your unique data on the EasyBloom web site for future reference

And the EasyBloom can be used again and again with outdoor as well as indoor plants!  It’s like having your own expert personal coach available 24/7!

Brenda from Massachusetts said it is “One of the best gifts I’ve ever received“.

I love this idea! It’s so cool that we can now use our computers to manage our gardens (yes, I’m a techi geek). Thanks for the review!
