Planting Tips Video For Tipsy Pots

Tipsy pot towers really do get a lot of attention in the garden and make a great conversation starter!   Once again, I enlisted my sister, Jennifer, to help me make a video about planting our tipsy pots (sometimes called crazy pots!).  You’ll see just how easy it is to create this vertical container garden.

Tipsy pots are perfect for small space gardening – either on a patio, a deck, or balcony.  A fun way to take advantage of the vertical space instead of crowding everything in the horizontal space on the floor surface.

Even though my backyard deck is 20′ X 20′, I place my crazy pots in full view of the door leading outside so they’re the first thing you see when you walk out on the deck.

Everyone always asks “how did you get them to stay like that?”  You may want this to be your own little magic secret!

And you can see by this picture how the pots are barely visible underneath all the foliage and flowers by mid-summer.

The Incredible Plant Stand

You can order The Incredible Plant Stand which is very similar to ours – just a little shorter.

Even though we start with a 12″ pot on the video, you start with a 10″ pot for this plant stand.    You should still plan to fill the bottom pot with about 6″ with small garden rocks to hold the stand firmly in place.   (We use medium size rocks, not smaller gravels.)

Order your own Incredible Plant Stand.

And after you get finished displaying summer flowers, use it to make a unique garden decor tower in the fall by stacking several sizes of pumpkins and gourds.

Watch the short video and see just how easy it is to create your own beautiful flower tower!

(After the video, Jennifer cleaned off the outside of her pots and filled in the blank spaces with more plants!)

Check out a plant caddy to make moving your flower tower easy.

Order your own Incredible Plant Stand and enjoy your tower of flowers. Another great gardening gift idea for any gardener.

Remember Father’s Day is coming!

The Incredible Plant Stand gets our green thumbs up!
